What Was I Thinking?

Someone tell me, PLEASE! I go back to work, PART TIME, and I am working 6 days a week. This is nuts. I do love what I do though. I found out yesterday I will be training for the Rancho San Miguel stores next week. Se Habla Espanol. Which is good because my boss was actually thinking about sending me to the Merced store and giving phone training. I told her she was crazy! The good news is my boss, Diane, asked me if I would be interested in working one day a week in the main office help her out. I said sure I would love too. Diane said good I will set up an interview with my boss, Wendy, for you. The same day Diane asked me to go to the warehouse and help her with our storage of papers their. No problem, so off I go. Our warehouse is connected with our main office in Lathrop. In the hallway of the office we run into Wendy. Diane introduces us. Wendy asked me how I am doing with the new job. I say it is great thank you and out to the warehouse I go. I am suppose to have my interview this week. But wait. I talked to Diane Monday and she said I already had it. No, I would remember a job interview. She said Wendy was impress with what she saw of me and I got the new job, one day a week. Yeah Me! So tomorrow I start, with phone training!

I started tanning last night to get ready for my trip to Texas, in 4 more weeks! I can't wait to see Nathan, Tony, Dave and Liz! And who could miss Southfork Ranch or Cabella's. I am working on a few things to submit for a magazine call, wish me luck! I am hoping to submit 5 things and get one picked up. I have been at Weight Watchers 10 weeks now and have lost 13.2 lbs, and fitting into my summer clothes. I haven't had time to sew lately but hoping to soon.

Poop is teething again. Which means another ear infection. Which means she is sick from the prescription. She is happy though. We do get to see an ENT next week and look into her getting tubes in her ears. I think this will be a good thing. She loves swimming. I am looking into getting her swim lessons this summer. It would be a private lesson and she would learn to kick to the surface, flip to her back and get to the edge of the pool.

Scott did nothing for his birthday. We went to Dante's with my parents for pizza. He is now $100 closer to the $2000 binoculars he wants. I am sure they do something amazing that the $600 pair he already has doesn't do. Maybe they carry the deer out for you. He is still in San Ramon waiting to take over the job. His office is bidding plans for a tract in Merced. If they get it he will be going down their. Maybe we could carpool? No exciting plans for the holiday weekend. I am working, ALL 3 days.

Be safe. Buckle up. Don't Drink and Drive, anything! That's it for public safety announcements.

We've been busy!

I am still trying to adjust to working again. Getting up at 4 am is crazy! The job is good though. They are wanting me to train for the Rancho San Miguel stores. I have told them I can't speak Spanish, I will have Monica and Margie on speed dial. These stores are more difficult and time consuming. I guess they think I am going to be able to handle it. Some of the other book keepers can't. Also I am down to 2 swaps. One is a secret sister swap. No big deal. Hopefully I will have more time to sew.

Delaney is doing good. She gets smarter everyday. Last week she got a clean towel out of the closet and went to the bathroom to wash her hands and face in the toilet. How smart is that! Not many 14 month olds know to get a towel BEFORE they play in the toilet. She has learned where he nose is. She usually put her finger in her nose and then laughs but she can find her nose. She also tries to open the frig when she wants a drink. She is still honing her most important skill, finding diamonds. Now when we ask her "where's the diamond?" She looks first for a wedding ring, then earrings and last for a necklace. I think it is important to also teach her some life skills. Our friend Kevin is going to teach her about diamond quality when she is a little older.

Scott's birthday is coming up. He will be 32 on Sunday. We are going to some comedy thing on Saturday night with my sister and Josh. Other than that no big plans. He is still working in San Ramon and waiting for the job to be turned over to him. It is a big hurry up and wait.

We are still have some minor problems with the new hard drive for the computer so no new pictures. Maybe soon. I haven't even loaded any music to my very cool green Ipod Shuffle. Which is my reason for not using my Gazelle.

Finally Back!

It has been a long week. Our computer crashed last Sunday night. The good news is we got a new hard drive and are able to be back on the World Wide Web. The bad news is that they haven't been able to recover anything yet, we are still waiting. We have lost ALL of our pictures. Here is my request, if you have any pictures of Poop could you please put them on a disk for me. I will pay for it, make brownies, scrapbook for you, sew, anything you want!

Other than that, I have been busy at work. I got one week of training and last Monday morning I was left on my own. I am currently only working at the Lodi and Wilson Way stores. I am going to get some training for the Rancho San Miguel stores too. This week I am doing the Hammer Lane store too. They have a different system than I have been trained on, I have no clue how to use it. Wish me luck.

Scott finally got the house plans done. They are in Sacramento waiting to get permits to start the building. Scott was printing the last page of 20 pages when the computer crashed. We are hoping that they can also retrieve this file with the pictures. Otherwise he has to start from the beginning if the city wants to make any changes.

Poop is having fun at Aunt Linda's while mom is at work. Aunt Linda feeds her stuff mom says no to. There are some great pictures of Poop on the Sarabear blog, the link is on the left. Our friend Heather took them at our friend Emma's birthday party. Poop thinks she is big enough to climb up the ladder and go down the slide on her own.
