I JUST got the call. Poop's surgery is scheduled for July 30th at 7:30am at Dameron Hospital. It is an out patience surgery, we will only be their a few hours. The surgery is only a 20 minute process.
Poop is like Aunt Linda and doesn't come out of anaesthesia well. So she will puke, get cleaned up, drink something and head home. I think we will be home before lunch.
I will post more when I know anything.

Adventures In Potty Training!
I promise not to bore you with every potty training detail BUT I thought I would share with you Scott and potty training. Poop has shown interest in using the potty. So last weekend I went to meet my friends for coffee and told Scott to pay attention in case Poop wants to use the potty.
So I get home from coffee and Poop announces "Take dump Mom! Take dump!" Great. I let Scott know we really need to call it potty or bathroom. I thought this was the only damage Scott did in a few short hours unsupervised with Poop. WRONG!!! I found out later in the week she also learned "Gotta Crap."
The people in the Manteca Target thought both of these were funny on Saturday. Poop has no shame and will loudly announce both phrases repeatedly.
The moral of this story is:
1. Don't let a construction worker have ANY influence on your small children.
2. Don't complain that your husband doesn't help with the kids. It will do more harm than good.

Health Update
As you know Poop has been suffering with Sinus Infections every 4 weeks since last Christmas. Two weeks ago she had her blood drawn to do two Allergy Test panels. Last Wednesday both panels came back negative. Which was good and bad news. We are very happy to learn she is not allergic to anything but this meant we didn't have the answer to the Sinus Infections. I asked the nurse if we could get her Adenoids checked. They don't do that until she has 6 sore throats in 12 months. I am still not sure what the sore throat has to do with the Adenoids.
This past Monday she had her one year check up on her tubes. They are still in place and look good. One is starting to come out but her ENT doctor says that is fine. I asked him about the Sinus Infections. He sent us over to the hospital to have a full set of Sinus x-rays and had us carry them back. The ENT doctor took one look and said "Her Adenoids are too big. We're doing surgery." I did ask if we could do the tonsils too, he said no they are fine. We are waiting the call from the doctor's office to set the date for the surgery. I do know that it will be sometime in the next 4 weeks.
After all that fun on Monday afternoon, we still had to take Poop to another doctor appointment. She woke up with Pink Eye! in both eyes! She is doing much better. It is gone from her left eye and the right eye should be clear by the weekend. She is even laughing and playing when we put in the drops.

Happy Father's Day!!!
Today Scott and Delaney are spending sometime with his dad. Poop took over home made Peanut Butter and Chocolate cupcakes to share with Grandpa Clyde. When they get home with any luck it will be nap time and we can head to my parents. The plan is to BBQ at 5pm. I am hoping to go over early, have Poop take a nap and I can get my quilt done that is on the quilting machine.
Scott got the gift that keeps on giving, for gallons. Gift Cards to BevMo to buy a keg. The one in the beverage entertainment center is empty. My dad is getting a gift card to Jamba Juice and Clyde got coffee.
I did get to work on my Mystery quilt this morning, everyone else slept in. I now have step 2 done. I should be working on step 4. This years quilt is Chocolate brown, lite blue and a touch of lime. It is looking good! I am hoping by the end of this month I will have step 4 cut out. Cross you fingers!
I also posted a tutorial for a travel pillow case over at SSEP. Link is also on the left.

Hair Cut?
Okay so I haven't had my hair cut/colored since last June. I was talking to my friend Kymn tonight about it. She just got another cute sassy do. I guess I NEED to do something. But I am having some issues with my hair.
I haven't done anything to is because I haven't figured out what I want. I want a new color. Red been their done that. Brown that's the color I am changing. Black I did that with purple highlights, friend mixed the WRONG color. Blond(?) not to sure. The other issue is I want my do to make my ass 20 lbs smaller. Short of getting a beehive I am not sure what else I could do. I have nothing against getting a beehive I just don't have the time to maintain it.
The up side is I have enough of my roots showing to know I don't have ANY GREY!!! Any ideas?

News...
I got the results of Poop's blood test, she is not allergic to anything. The nurse thought this should be good news. Unfortunately it means something else is wrong with Poop. I have asked if they will issue a referral to have her throat x-rayed to check if her Adenoids are the problem. I am still waiting for a call back from the doctor.

Asking for your help
Tomorrow my friend Nathan has a huge test. Please keep good thoughts for him. He has worked hard to get into the PhD program at UT and this test means A LOT!
Now for Poop News...yesterday I had to take her to have 2 viles of blood drawn. She was sooo good. They got the needle in the first arm and she sat quietly and watched. Unfortunately they didn't get enough. When they had to poke her in the other arm she only flinched. When she was finished they gave her a sticker. She asked for 2, so they gave her another one. Since we were close and she NEEDED fries, we headed to In-N-Out. Dave I got you something. LOL.

So Like My Father
So today I was more like my father than I should care to admit to. I had to take Poop to the doctor again for a sinus infection, more in a moment. When we are leaving the kids get to pick out a sticker and get a sucker. Poop picked a Sponge Bob sticker, go figure. I get her buckled in the car and off we go. As I am driving I hear "Mom see!" I looked back and what do I see? The STICKER stuck to my beautifully tinted window!!! I went sideways!!! I quickly pull over, jump out of the car to see if I can rescue my window. I get the sticker off and ask Poop "Are you CRAZY!?!?" She was back to playing with the sticker and told me "YES!"
This was such a dad moment. If we even asked if we could put a sticker on the car we would get "THE LOOK." There were never any bumper stickers on my parents cars. This has been past on. Being a car junkie I don't put stickers on my car. Even when I have to have a parking pass and they say just stick it to your window. I ask for the mirror hanger kind.
Now for Poop back at the doctor, she has another sinus infection. We also got a lab slip to have her blood drawn for an allergy test. We will be going tonight after we vote to have her stuck like a pin cushion. With any luck we will be able to figure out what is causing her monthly sinus infections.
